eraser

Office materials: Pencils have been in use since the middle of the 16th century. Then, corrections were made by rubbing with bread. In 1770, it was discovered that rubber achieves a better result. When we use a pencil, we are distributing graphite particles across the paper. Rubber has a stronger adhesive power than paper and attracts the graphite particles forming small crumbs. These days, erasers are made of synthetic materials. Tip: rub across the pencil line instead of along it to avoid smearing.
