netiquette
A cross between the words "net" and "etiquette" - virtual politeness or voluntary consideration for others when utilizing the many functions of internet i.e. in emails, chatrooms, online fora and virtual communities. There is no official netiquette but many suggestions exist which involve tone, content, legibility and security.
