overhead projector
Conference equipment: A transparent foil is laid on a glass plate over a halogen lamp. The light is passed through a lens situated below the glass plate, carrying the image on the transparent by means of a further lens (for focusing) and a small mirror to a projection screen. Overhead projectors have been largely replaced by video projectors due to the omnipresence of the laptop in business and education.
