receipt stamp

A receipt stamp marks a document with the date of receipt and, sometimes, additional information e.g. to which department a document has been forwarded. The purpose of the receipt stamp is administrative support but does not constitute legal evidence. Receipt stamps are available both in manual and electrical forms.
