telephone conference
A telephone conference allows group discussion between participants in separate locations. It can be implemented internally if the telephone system offers the conference function. If this is not the case, there are telephone conference providers who offer the technology to implement a telephone conference. Participants call a telephone number at a predetermined time with a security PIN. Providers can offer virtual conference rooms for up to several hundred participants. Other methods of distance group communication are the web conference and the video conference.
