typeface

A typeface is the graphic design of letters and numbers. Typefaces are classified into fonts according to attributes such as size, spacing and serif type. There are more than 100,000 digital typefaces but not all of them are compatible with all programs or systems. The norm DIN16518 classifies them into groups.
