Web conferences enable business partners to communicate from different locations using computers or Laptops connected via Internet. The organizer sends an Email invitation with a date and time, a hyperlink and an access code . Participants log in individually and are then able to view the organizer's screen. During the meeting, it is possible to switch to the screen of other participants and to hand over control of mouse and keyboard. In this way, files can be viewed and processed together.
The software used offers various functions such as whiteboard, file and application sharing, chat and distribution of data. Some systems also integrate verbal and visual communication enabling participants to hold a video conference.
