Your Office
The Dussmann-Office premises in Berlin’s Friedrichstraße range in size from 16 to 23 square meters. Some of the offices enjoy a wonderful view of the boulevard Unter den Linden at the junction with Friedrichstraße. Others look onto the Atrium and the Kulturkaufhaus (Dussmann’s prestigious cultural store). A number of conference rooms are additionally available with modern equipment for making presentations, with space for up to 30 people.
Transport connections
Friedrichstraße railway station (with underground, city and intercity connections) is only three minutes’ walk away. Tegel airport is only 30 minutes by the express bus (which stops directly in front of the office building). The motorway can be reached in approx. 20 minutes. Parking spaces are available in the building’s own underground car park and there are a number of multi-storey car parks in the immediate vicinity.
Hotels and Food and Drink
There are a number of hotels within walking distance. The Maritim pro Arte and Jolly hotels are situated directly opposite. The Westin Grand in Friedrichstraße is only a three minute walk away. The Four Seasons hotel on Gendarmenmarkt is five minutes by foot,and the Adlon on Pariser Platz is a ten-minute walk away. There are restaurants, cafés and bars catering for every taste around Friedrichstraße. The Splendid coffee house is situated in the Dussmann building. The Italian restaurant Bocca di Bacco and Borchardt’s are particularly good for business lunches and dinners and both are within comfortable walking distance.
Shopping and leisure
Friedrichstraße is developing into Berlin’s most exclusive shopping street with a wide range of high-quality outlets. Friedrichstraße station offers a wide range of shops, including a supermarket open until 10pm. Dussmann’s Kulturkaufhaus offers every type of media under one roof and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am until midnight. The store also offers events which are among the city’s cultural highlights. Theatre tickets can also be purchased here. There are a wide range of theatres and museums in the immediate vicinity, such as the Berliner Ensemble theatre, the Staatsoper on Unter den Linden and the Museum Island with the renowned Pergamon museum.
